Options (Save As... Dialog)

Save As...-> Options allows you to control the way your file is saved.

If the file is being saved locally, you may choose among several file formats, including HTML, Text without linebreaks, Text, and PostScript. You may extend the format list by adding SaveAs Filters in the Preference dialog.

Relative links within a page may be expanded to full URLs, or they may be left as relative links. Images within a page may be saved along with the page itself. You may select to save no images, only relative images, or all images. If you save all images then the image URLs will become relative. If you save no images then whether links to relative images are expanded into full URLs or remain unchanged is dependent on the "Relative links to Full URL" checkbox.

Rather than having NaviPress fix up your links for you, you might prefer to save your file with a Base. This means that a special entry is made in the header telling browsers that look at this page to expand relative URLS based on the location of the file as you just loaded it, rather than where you plan to save it. For example,  suppose you load a file from the URL http://www.navisoft.com/NaviPress/, and then save it to the URL http://www.company.com/LocalHelp/ with "Use Basename..." checked.  Any relative links in that file will refer to the other files at the http://www.navisoft.com/NaviPress/ location, not the http://www.company.com/LocalHelp/ location.  This can be useful if you wish to maintain a partial copy of your miniweb on a different server.
